Falling between coldplay, razorlight, crowded house and keane, the new freedom effortlessly combines elements of pop, rock and soul to create an epic and international sound.
The bands debut album 'A Thousand Nights' is due for release internationally during 2008 and was produced in NZ by The Sound Room and was mixed and mastered by US producer Ed Goldfarb (KD Lang, Morcheba, Boys II Men). The New Freedom were recently awarded NZ On Air funding for the first single off the album 'What I Need' - the and single for which was released in May 2008.
